I graduated from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California at the top of my class, receiving a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine.  I then went on to get my Ph.D in Chinese Medicine from ACTCM in San Francisco. I am California and National Board-Certified as a  Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. In addition to my postgraduate work, I hold a Bachlors of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology, and a Bachlors of Art in History from UCSB. I also taught college level anatomy and physiology and have an Associates degree from SRJC.

My areas of specialization include fertility and women’s health (including IUI/IVF support), internal medicine, digestive disease, nutritional care, orthopedic and pain management. Further, I have focused much of my studies on nutrition and exercise development.

I am committed to the development of a caring, innovative, and successful practice where my patients feel relaxed and nourished. As a latina, I wish to especially serve my BIPOC community and the Oriental Medicine profession by treating illness and promoting health and wellness. I work to enhance and maintain your health with a high level of ethics utilizing a broad depth of knowledge, diversity of skills, and quality of care. My goal is to provide the best possible care to each and every patient. I believes I am  uniquely suited to treat others, because I myself have benefited from the therapeutic qualities of Chinese Medicine.

When I am not in the office, I enjoys activities such as jogging, climbing, hiking, painting, and creating art.
